Dr. Yatinesh Kumari is a Senior Lecturer at the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia. Her research focuses on neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer’s and sleep disorders, leveraging plant-based compounds and zebrafish models. She has secured over 20 research grants and authored 53 peer-reviewed articles, contributing to high-impact journals in neuroscience and pharmacology.
Dr. Kumari holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Lucknow (India), along with MSc (Zoology) and BSc degrees. Her work bridges laboratory research and community engagement, addressing health equity through initiatives such as refugee health programs and public education.
