Yassine Khoudja is a Researcher at the Institute of Sociology, Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, specializing in quantitative analyses of social change. He serves as Co-PI of the DFG-funded RISS CoRE Project, focusing on multidimensional socio-structural reconfiguration. His work bridges social categories and economic/cultural transformations, with expertise in immigrant integration, gender labor dynamics, and political polarization in Europe. He holds a PhD from Utrecht University (2017) and has taught courses on migration, gender inequality, and empirical research methods.
Education: Sociology degrees from University of Göttingen, UC San Diego, and Utrecht University. Postdoctoral research at ERCOMER (Utrecht) before joining Goethe University. Active in collaborative projects including EU-funded studies on political attitudes and BMBF-funded research on European societal convergence/divergence.
Research Interests: Social stratification, immigrant integration processes, gender roles in labor markets, and political polarization trends. Recent focus on how socio-structural changes are internalized by populations, with publications in Social Science Research, Journal of Marriage and Family, and European Sociological Review.
Grants & Projects: Lead researcher in RISS CoRE (DFG) and BMBF-funded 'Is Europe Growing Together?' initiative. Coordinated data collection for large-scale surveys analyzing European public opinion dynamics.
