Yasser Teimouri is an Assistant Professor at Bogazici University. His educational background includes a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics from Georgetown University (2019), an M.A. in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from Iran University of Science & Technology (2009), and a B.A. in English Translation from Azad University, Karaj Branch (2006).
His research focuses on Instructed Second Language Acquisition, exploring cognitive and psychological aspects of language acquisition, pedagogical methodologies for task-based instruction, quantitative research techniques, and meta-analytic approaches to synthesize findings across language learning studies.
