Yasir Hameed is an Honorary Associate Professor at Norwich Medical School, University of East Anglia (UEA), and a Consultant in General Adult and Old Age Psychiatry at Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. He has been instrumental in advancing mental health care for older adults and asylum seekers, establishing a specialist clinic for refugees in Norfolk. His academic role includes training medical students, supervising junior doctors, and contributing to the MBBS admissions process.
