Dr. Yannick Poirier is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Maryland, specializing in medical physics and radiation dosimetry. He joined the institution in 2016 from the Tom Baker Cancer Centre (Calgary, Canada) and holds board certifications from both the Canadian College of Physicists in Medicine (CCPM) and the American Board of Radiology. His clinical expertise includes stereotactic radiation surgery, where he developed the University of Maryland's single-isocenter multiple-target treatment technique.
