Dr. Yanling Tian is a Reader in Mechanical Engineering at the School of Engineering, University of Warwick. He holds prestigious fellowships including FIET, FHEA, FRMS, and is a Chartered Engineer. Previously, he held the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship at Oldenburg University and a Research Fellowship at Monash University. His research focuses on micro/nano robotics, precision instrumentation, metrology, and biomechanics. He has authored over 300 publications and secured significant grants, including EU FP7/H2020 and UKRI projects.
