Singaporean violinist Yang Shuxiang serves as Artist Faculty at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory (National University of Singapore) and Instructor at the School of the Arts. He earned a Doctor of Musical Arts degree from the New England Conservatory under Donald Weilerstein, with formative training from Qian Zhou, Almita Vamos, and other renowned mentors.

Research interests span chamber music, music and health through the Performers(‘) Present initiative, and Asia-Pacific improvisation via the Asia-Pacific Improvisers Symposium. His teaching includes seasonal residencies at the Singapore Chamber Music Festival and Cremona International Music Academy.
