Yally Avrahampour

Dr. Yally Avrahampour is an Associate Professor in the Department of Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He holds a PhD from the University of Essex, an Executive MBA from London Business School, and a BA from the University of Leeds. His practitioner experience includes serving as Vice President at Merrill Lynch for 13 years, where he was a Trustee of UK pension funds.

His research focuses on accounting standards, fair value theory, economics of information, and management accounting in evolving financial environments. Recent publications analyze historical transformations in pension fund management through sociological and financial lenses, with emphasis on risk management frameworks and corporate governance.
