Yajue Huang

Yajue Huang, M.D., Ph.D., serves as Associate Professor of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology and Consultant in the Division of Anatomic Pathology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. She holds dual leadership roles as Director of the Cytopathology Laboratory and Section Head of Cytopathology since 2018, with primary responsibilities spanning diagnostic cancer pathology and gynecologic oncology research.

Her academic foundation includes a Ph.D. in Pharmacology & Toxicology from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy & Science and a Bachelor of Medicine equivalent from Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. Clinical training encompassed Pathology Residency/Chief Residency at Temple University Hospital, Surgical Pathology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania, Cytopathology Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, and Postdoctoral Research at Fox Chase Cancer Center.

Dr. Huang's research centers on gynecologic malignancies with emphasis on ovarian high-grade serous carcinoma, ovarian clear-cell carcinoma, and endometrial cancer.
