Yair Tauman is a Leading Professor and Director of the Stony Brook Center for Game Theory at Stony Brook University, Department of Economics. His research focuses on game theory, industrial organization, and strategic economic behavior, with notable contributions to patent licensing models, market competition, and conflict resolution. Tauman has organized the annual Summer Game Theory Conference since 1990 and serves as an associate editor for major journals including Games and Economic Behavior and International Journal of Game Theory.
