Yair Pincu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Exercise Science, affiliated with the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Oklahoma. His research focuses on exercise physiology, particularly in the context of obesity, diabetes, and metabolic health.

Dr. Pincu investigates the interaction between exercise and metabolic disorders, including Type 1 diabetes, exercise-induced hypoglycemia, and molecular mechanisms in exercise physiology. His work is conducted in the Exercise Metabolism Lab, which explores how physical activity modulates adipose tissue and improves health outcomes.
