Yadong Wang is the McAdam Family Foundation Professor of Heart Assist Technology at the Meinig School of Biomedical Engineering, Cornell University. He holds a Ph.D. from Stanford University (1999) and completed postdoctoral studies at MIT. His research focuses on biomaterials for cardiovascular, nervous, and musculoskeletal systems. Notable projects include artery tissue engineering using biodegradable elastomers and drug delivery systems leveraging heparin-polycation coacervation. He co-founded companies to translate lab innovations, with one polymer commercially approved for clinical use.
