YU Yang is a Full-time Faculty member and Assistant Professor of Finance at the Lee Kong Chian School of Business (LKCSB), Singapore Management University (SMU). He holds a Ph.D. in Finance from INSEAD (France/Singapore) and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Beijing Foreign Studies University, China. His research focuses on FinTech, banking competition, financial innovation, and cryptocurrency markets, with notable work on topics like digital disruption’s impact on financial inclusion and scams in initial coin offerings (ICOs).
