Dr. Yang Lu is a Senior Lecturer (Educator Track) at the Department of Information Systems and Analytics within the School of Computing at the National University of Singapore. She teaches undergraduate courses including Management of Information Systems, Information Security Management, Computing and Society, and Computing Basics.
She holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering in Information Systems from Renmin University of China.
Her research examines human interactions in digital environments, focusing on:
- Online Consumer Behavior: Analyzing how users evaluate products through reviews and social cues
- Social Media Dynamics: Investigating self-disclosure patterns and community engagement
- Human-Computer Interaction: Exploring interface design impacts on decision-making
