YAN Aimin is Professor of Management and Senior Associate Dean at Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business (CKGSB). He previously served as Professor of Organizational Behavior at Boston University School of Management with tenure, where he held positions as Faculty Director of International MBA, Faculty Liaison of Organizational Behavior PhD Program, and Research Director of Human Resources Policy Institute. As one of the founding faculty, Professor Yan participated in establishing CKGSB in 2002 and has been teaching there since.
Professor Yan's research focuses on international business and organizational behavior. His primary areas of interest include:

Professor Yan's publications over the past 15 years demonstrate consistent expertise in international joint ventures, organizational behavior, and cross-cultural management. His work frequently examines the dynamics of U.S.-China business relationships and the challenges of managing international collaborations. The research shows a progression from theoretical frameworks to empirical studies of specific joint ventures, with increasing attention to psychological contracts, boundary work, and organizational change processes.

Professor Yan has extensive teaching experience across multiple programs, including Business Scholars Program, Executive Education, EMBA, Chinese MBA, and English MBA. He has taught Introduction to Management and Organizational Behavior for EMBA, MBA and FMBA since the first classes at CKGSB.
