Xun Li is an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry at the School of Pharmaceutical Science, Shandong University. She has been affiliated with the institution since 2004, holding roles as Lecturer, Postdoctoral Fellow, and Associate Professor.
- Education: Ph.D. in Chemistry from Shandong University and Tianjin University (2004), B.S. in Chemistry from Qufu Normal University (1999).
- Professional Experience: 2004-2006 Lecturer & Postdoctoral Fellow; 2006-present Associate Professor; Visiting Scholar at Tokyo University (2007, 2008).
Her research focuses on anti-tumor agents, peptidomimetics, multidrug resistance (MDR) reversal, matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) inhibitors, and aminopeptidase N (APN) inhibitors. She has published extensively on quinoxalinone derivatives and their roles in cancer therapy.
Scientific Awards include:
- Excellent Postdoctoral Research Fellowship of China (2005)
- Youth Research Fellowship of 40th IUPAC (2005)
- Second-Class Shandong Province Science and Technology Progress Award (2012)
She has secured multiple grants, including National Natural Foundation Research Grants and Japan-China Collaborative Research Grants, and holds several patents for quinoxalinone derivatives with MDR reversal and MMP inhibition activity.
