Xuejun Jiang

Xuejun Jiang, PhD, holds the Virginia and Daniel K. Ludwig Chair in the Cell Biology Program at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). His research focuses on programmed cell death mechanisms (apoptosis, ferroptosis) and autophagy in cancer, aiming to translate findings into therapeutic strategies. He employs biochemical, chemical biology, and mouse modeling approaches.

Education: PhD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. His work has led to key insights into ferroptosis regulation via lipid metabolism, mitochondrial roles, and tumor microenvironment interactions.
