Xue Ning is an Assistant Professor of Management Information Systems (MIS) in the Business Department at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado Denver (2021). Her research focuses on Information Systems, Sustainability Management, and Healthcare Technology, with a particular emphasis on IT in family businesses, green IS capabilities, and blockchain applications in governance. She teaches courses such as Management Information Systems, Cloud Computing, and Data Analytics, emphasizing practical skills for business and technology integration.
Dr. Ning's recent work explores the role of technology in enhancing organizational resilience post-pandemic, including digital health systems and post-COVID-19 adaptation strategies. She has published in journals like Journal of Management Information Systems, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, and Journal of Medical Internet Research. Her research also addresses global challenges such as targeted poverty alleviation via blockchain and green performance measurement in organizations.
Her courses include advanced topics in business analytics, database management, and systems analysis. She actively contributes to the academic community through peer-reviewed articles and conference presentations, focusing on bridging technological innovation with real-world organizational and societal needs.
