Xiulian Pan serves as Professor and group leader at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics (DICP), Chinese Academy of Sciences, where she leads research in catalytic energy conversion processes.
Her academic training includes:
- Ph.D. from DICP (2001) under Prof. Guoxing Xiong
- Postdoctoral research at Fraunhofer Institute of Interfacial Engineering and Biotechnology, Stuttgart
Research focuses on confined catalysis within porous materials (carbon, zeolites, metal oxides) for syngas chemistry and small molecule conversion (CH4, N2, CO2) in energy applications, emphasizing fundamental mechanistic studies.
