Xinyu Chen is a Lecturer (Teacher Scholar) at California Polytechnic State University's College of Architecture and Environmental Design, specializing in architectural design, media studies, and cultural analysis. Her academic journey includes a Princeton University M.Arch II degree and a Rice University B.Arch, complemented by teaching roles at Syracuse University and Princeton.
Her research interrogates the experience of otherness in built environments through visual representations, examining diasporic artifacts, spatial marginalization, and inclusive design.
