Dr. Xinyi Zhang is affiliated with Johns Hopkins University, conducting research in causal inference and statistical neuroimaging. Her work addresses challenges in identifying valid instruments for causal discovery and developing statistical methods for neuroimaging data, including fMRI studies. She presented a seminar titled On Statistical Solutions for Complex Data Challenges at The University of Texas at Dallas on January 16, 2025, focusing on two research lines: causal inference using instrumental variables and a multiple testing procedure for functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI).
