Xiaopeng Bi serves as a Professor (Career Track) in the Mechanical and Materials Engineering department at Washington State University's Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture, based at the WSU Everett campus. His educational foundation includes a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2003), complemented by M.S. and B.S. degrees in Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China (1997, 1994). Prior academic appointments include Visiting Professor at Tecnologico de Monterrey (2019), Engineering Faculty at Everett Community College (2009-2012), and Adjunct Professor at Saint Martin’s University (2010-2011).
