Xiaojuan Liu

Xiaojuan Liu is an Associate Professor at the Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She has served as a former Principal Investigator (PI) for multiple projects, including the 'Belowground productivity and complementarity' initiative and the 'MultiTroph Data management and synthesis' project. Her research focuses on biodiversity-ecosystem interactions, particularly tree diversity effects on productivity, belowground processes, and trophic interactions in subtropical forests. She has contributed to international collaborations such as the BEF-China and MultiTroph projects, emphasizing data management and experimental design in large-scale ecological studies.
