Xiaocheng Mi

Xiaocheng Mi is an Assistant Professor in Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, focusing on renewable energy systems and combustion safety. His research includes metal combustion, pressure-gain combustion, and detonation in gaseous/condensed-phase materials. Dr. Mi leads projects on zero-carbon metal fuel combustion and founded the Young Researchers' Forum on Detonation.

He holds a PhD from McGill University (2018) and conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Cambridge and McGill. His work bridges fundamental combustion science with sustainable energy applications.
