Xiangming Mu is an Associate Professor at the School of Information Studies, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He holds a PhD in Library and Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with advanced degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill (MSIS), Chinese Academy of Sciences (MS), and Nanjing University (BS). His research focuses on information technology applications, user behavior studies, and specialized retrieval systems for health and biomedical domains. He teaches courses such as L&I SCI 571 (Information Access and Retrieval) and L&I SCI 774 (Online Information Retrieval).
