Xiang Wan is a Professor of Logistics at the Max M. Fisher College of Business, The Ohio State University. Previously, he held faculty roles at the University of Tennessee and Marquette University. His research focuses on product/service variety management, order fulfillment, and innovative logistics technologies.

- B.S. in Information Engineering, Nanchang University
His work bridges supply chain theory and practice, with publications in Manufacturing and Service Operations Management, Strategic Management Journal, and Production and Operations Management. Recent studies examine competitive dynamics in product variety, blockchain for transparency, and omnichannel logistics.
Scientific awards include the 2012 Doctoral Dissertation Award (CSCMP) and 2009 TRF Foundation Research Award. He teaches BUSML 4382 - Logistics Analytics and BUSML 8385 - Empirical Methods in Logistics Research.
