Xi Zhu is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Chinese at Pacific Lutheran University's Humanities Division, where he teaches courses in Chinese language and pre-modern literature. Concurrently pursuing a PhD at the University of Washington, Zhu's research focuses on the Classic of Odes (pre-300 BCE), examining its manuscript traditions and the absence of authorship concepts in early Chinese culture.
