Xi Kathy Zhou is an Associate Professor of Population Health Sciences at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Statistical and Data Science at Cornell University. Her work bridges statistical methodology and biomedical research, focusing on cancer prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
Her research spans Bayesian hierarchical models, variable selection, model averaging, predictive modeling, and clinical trial design. She develops computational tools for analyzing complex biomedical data, including omics datasets and clustered/longitudinal data, with applications in cancer biology and immunology.
Dr. Zhou collaborates extensively with researchers at WCM and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC). Her work has been funded by NIH, NCI, the Department of Defense, and private foundations.
