Xi-Cheng Zhang is a distinguished Professor and Head of the International Institute of Photonics and Optical Information Technology at ITMO University, Russia. He is also affiliated with the University of Rochester, USA, and serves on ITMO's International Council. His work bridges fundamental and applied research in photonics and optical technologies.
His research interests include Photonics, Terahertz Physics, Nonlinear Optics, and Ultrafast Information Transfer.
