Xi Chen

Xi Chen is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Biology, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), since 2019. He previously worked as a Senior Staff Scientist at the Wellcome Sanger Institute (2016–2019) and Postdoctoral Fellow at the European Bioinformatics Institute (2013–2016). His academic journey includes a PhD in Life Sciences (2009–2012) and BSc in Experimental Medicine (2005–2009) from the University of Manchester and Peking University Health Science Center respectively.
