Xi Ai

Xi Ai is an Assistant Professor of Accountancy at the University of Louisville's AACSB-accredited College of Business. She holds a PhD from the University of Tennessee (2021) and dual degrees in Accounting from the University of Arkansas (M.Acc 2014, BS 2014). A licensed CPA in Arkansas, she brings Fortune 500 experience in financial reporting and SOX compliance implementation.

Her research focuses on auditing practices, international accounting standards, and financial reporting processes. Notable work examines auditor verification strategies during economic instability using small business case studies. Recognitions include the Journal of International Accounting Research's Best Reviewer (2022) and Faculty Favorite Nomination (2021-22).
