Xesus Prieto Blanco

Xesus Prieto Blanco is a Professor at the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC), affiliated with the Department of Applied Physics within the Faculty of Physics. He contributes to the Materials Institute (iMATUS) and the Strategic Grouping in Materials (AEMAT), where he leads the QMatterPhotonics (Quantum Materials and Photonics Group). His research focuses on quantum photonics and integrated optics, particularly using ion exchange processes in glass for fabricating quantum cryptography systems and optical waveguides.
