Xavier Escriva

Xavier Escriva is a Lecturer at Claude Bernard Lyon 1 University and a researcher at the Fluid Mechanics and Acoustics Laboratory (LMFA - UMR 5509) in Lyon, France. He specializes in multi-physical fluid dynamics and biomechanical simulation, with a focus on patient-specific cardiovascular modeling.

His research explores digital hemodynamic simulations of pathological arteries using medical imaging reconstructions, particularly studying arterial endofibrosis in elite cyclists and stent stability in thoracic aortic aneurysms. Collaborations include teams at Edouard Herriot Hospital, CREATIS, and LAMCOS.
