Xavier Capó Fiol

Dr. Xavier Capó Fiol is an Assistant Professor at the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB), affiliated with the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology within the School of Fundamental Biology and Health Sciences. He teaches courses such as Biochemistry, Food Biochemistry, and Nutrition across undergraduate and master’s programs in Biology, Biochemistry, and Human Nutrition and Food.

• Research involvement in interdisciplinary groups: Flow Injection and Trace Analysis (FI-TRACE), Interdisciplinary Ecology (ECOINT), and Community Nutrition and Oxidative Stress (NUCOX).
• Specializes in biochemical and nutritional studies, oxidative stress, and analytical methodologies.
