Univ.-Prof. Mag. Dr. Wolfgang Mueller is a Full Professor for Russian History at the Department of East European History, University of Vienna. He is Deputy Director of the Institute of East European History and holds leadership roles in academic governance, including Vice-Director of Studies in History and Co-Chairman of the Austrian-Ukrainian Historical Commission. His professional journey includes roles at the Austrian Academy of Sciences and international visiting professorships in France, Poland, Germany, and Switzerland.
