Witold Zaręba

Witold Zaręba is an Associate Professor at the Department of Graphic Arts, Faculty of Art, University of Jan Dlugosz in Czestochowa, with additional affiliation at the University of Silesia in Katowice. His artistic practice centers on innovative graphic arts, specializing in spatial composition through relief printing techniques.

Zaręba's research explores the multidimensional relationship between physical space and graphic imagery. Since 2010, he has developed multi-element installations incorporating 19th-century engravings and artisanal photography, merging historical narratives with contemporary social commentary through linocut techniques. His work challenges traditional boundaries of printmaking by creating spatial dialogues between real environments and graphic representations.
