Dr. Wind Goodfriend is a Professor of Experimental Psychology and Assistant Dean for Liberal Arts at Buena Vista University. She holds a B.A. from Buena Vista University and M.S. and Ph.D. from Purdue University. Her research focuses on preventing relationship violence, sexism, and homophobia, with notable work on cult behavior analysis and media representation effects. She has authored or edited 12 books, including the award-winning textbook Social Psychology (2019).
