William Vizuete

William Vizuete is a Full Professor in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC), part of the Gillings School of Global Public Health. He also serves as the Gillings School’s first Innovation Strategy Adviser, focusing on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship in public health solutions. His primary research addresses air pollution’s health impacts and climate change, with expertise in air quality modeling, atmospheric chemistry, and policy translation.
