William Marslen-Wilson

William Marslen-Wilson is an Honorary Professor of Language and Cognition at the University of Cambridge, with affiliations to the Academy of Europe since 1996 as an Ordinary Member in the section "The Human Mind and Its Complexity." He previously served as Director of the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit in Cambridge from 1997 to 2010.

His research focuses on fundamental aspects of language processing, including the mental lexicon, speech comprehension, and cognitive neuroscience. He has made significant contributions to understanding the neural mechanisms underlying language cognition.
