William M. Jackson, MD, is the Division Chief of Pediatric Anesthesiology at Montefiore Einstein, a partnership between Montefiore Medical Center and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His clinical focus includes pediatric anesthesiology, acute and chronic pain medicine, and regional anesthesia.

Dr. Jackson’s research explores neurodevelopmental outcomes of anesthetic exposure in children, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on pediatric patients, and executive function in children with heart disease. His work bridges anesthesiology, pediatrics, and public health, with a focus on improving long-term outcomes for vulnerable pediatric populations.
Dr. Jackson has received recognition for his research, including the Virginia Apgar Research Fellowship, a prestigious honor supporting innovative work in anesthesiology and perioperative medicine.
He is board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology and is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the Society for Pediatric Anesthesiology, and the Society for Pediatric Pain Medicine.
