William Edward Wilson (Ted Wilson) is a Master Lecturer at the McEwen School of Architecture, Laurentian University. He holds a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (1982) and a Bachelor of Architecture (1985) from the University of Waterloo. His professional credentials include LEED accreditation, Sustainable Building Advisor certification, and Passivhaus design training. Wilson served as President of AECOM Canada Architects Ltd. and is currently President of the Ontario Association of Architects, chairing its Sustainable Built Environment Committee since 2017.
His research focuses on sustainable buildings through the Northern Buildings Database project, which documents structures in Northern Ontario based on five criteria:
