William C. Garrison III serves as a Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pittsburgh's School of Computing and Information. Holding a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh (2015), his work has been recognized with a runner-up distinction for the ACM SIGSAC Doctoral Dissertation Award. His research focuses on application-aware access control evaluation, web privacy, and technology-induced distracted driving, with a particular emphasis on cybersecurity education for undergraduates.
