William Arighi is an Assistant Professor of World Literature at Springfield College's Department of Humanities. His research focuses on postcolonial literature, global/transnational studies, and the intersections of empire with literary value. He holds a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Washington (2015), an M.A. in Comparative and World Literature from San Francisco State University (2007), and a B.A. in Literature from UC Santa Cruz (2004).
