Will W. Adams is an Associate Professor of Psychology at Duquesne University and a practicing psychotherapist/ecopsychologist. He holds a B.S. in Business (UNC-Chapel Hill, 1980), M.A. in Psychology (West Georgia College, 1985), and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (Duquesne, 1993). Previously, he served as a Clinical Fellow at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. His research integrates existential phenomenology, relational psychoanalysis, Gestalt therapy, and Zen Buddhism/Christian mysticism.

Publications span topics like ecological ethics, pandemic psychology, and Gestalt therapy. He serves on editorial boards of Humanistic Psychologist and Journal of Humanistic Psychology. His work bridges academic research with clinical practice, emphasizing relational and embodied approaches.
