Will Mack is a Courtesy Assistant Professor of Black Studies and Director of Undergraduate Studies at the University of Missouri. His research focuses on race, immigration, and the carceral state in 20th-century U.S. and Haitian contexts, employing a transnational framework. He has published extensively on topics such as redlining, prison uprisings, and policing histories in venues like Black Perspectives and the ACLS Mapping Inequality Project.
- Research Interests: Transnational carceral systems, racialized state violence, urban inequality, and historical memory.

He received the 2022 John Higham Research Fellowship for his doctoral dissertation on American history.
