Wiktoria Vith

Professor Wiktoria Vith serves in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering and Maritime Technologies at Flensburg University of Applied Sciences. Her academic role centers on process engineering with specialized expertise in water treatment and membrane technology.

Her research spans water and wastewater treatment, environmental technology, and membrane technologies, with significant contributions to plant engineering and environmental management systems. Current projects include CleanMarine4.0 and Power-to-Fuels initiatives focusing on sector coupling and CO2 capture.

Professor Vith teaches across multiple programs including Biotechnology and Food Technology, Energy Sciences, and Mechanical Engineering. Her course portfolio encompasses Bioprocess Engineering, Membrane Technology, Environmental Management, and Process Engineering 3, with specific focus areas in water supply systems and physical chemistry applications.

As Project Manager for CleanMarine4.0, Easy2Clean, WeMetBio, and ParShip initiatives, she leads interdisciplinary teams in maritime environmental technology. She also manages the Test Laboratory for Sector Coupling and Power-to-Fuels research, including the CO2 Capture and Storage workshop project.

Her operational responsibilities include environmental protection management, energy sciences integration, and advancing biotechnology process engineering through practical applications like the campus hop garden and Maibock brewing projects.
