Dr. Weylin Sternglanz serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience at Nova Southeastern University's College of Psychology. He holds a Ph.D. and M.A. from the University of Virginia and a B.A. from Pomona College, establishing a strong academic foundation for his work in social psychology.
Dr. Sternglanz specializes in interpersonal perception, with particular expertise in deception detection and decoding nonverbal cues to emotions. His research extends to multiple related areas including health-risk behaviors among adolescents, thought suppression effects on creativity, and meta-accuracy in emotional perception.
