Dr. Wesley L. Allen serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Mayo Clinic's Jacksonville campus, specializing in cardiothoracic anesthesia and solid organ transplantation. His clinical expertise centers on managing high-acuity transplant cases and advanced transesophageal echocardiography interpretation.

Dr. Allen completed his medical training at University of Texas Health Science Center (2011), followed by residency at University of Missouri (2015) and cardiothoracic anesthesia fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center (2016). His educational background includes a Chemistry BA from Wake Forest University (2005).
