Wes Jones

Wes Jones is a partner in Jones, Partners: Architecture (founded 1993) and serves as the Director of the Graduate Program at the University of Southern California (USC) School of Architecture. His work merges technological innovation with cultural critique, earning recognition through eight Progressive Architecture Design Awards, including for the Astronauts’ Memorial at Kennedy Space Center and the $180M South Campus Chiller Plant at UCLA. He has held teaching roles at Harvard, Princeton, IIT, Columbia, UCLA, Ohio State, SCI-Arc, UC Berkeley (Howard Friedman Professor of Practice), and the University of Toronto (Frank Gehry Chair).

Research Focus: Jones explores the intersection of architecture with technology, environmental sustainability, and contemporary cultural discourse. His firm’s experimental projects, such as the SouperGREEN publication, analyze ecological sensibilities in architectural design.
