Weronika Kulpa

Weronika Kulpa is a lecturer at the Faculty of Vocal Performance and Acting at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk. A contemporary and baroque cellist, gamba player, and educator, she has taught early music classes since 2015 and served as a cello teacher at LAS Academy in Sopot since 2019.

• Born in 1989, graduated Best Graduate 2013 from the Academy of Music in Gdańsk
• Completed second-cycle Baroque Cello studies at Bydgoszcz Academy of Music in 2021
• Currently pursuing viola da gamba specialization at Bydgoszcz Academy (since October 2024)

Her research focuses on historical performance of Baroque repertoire, with collaborations including Ensemble Inégalité and Thesaurus Musicae Gedanensis. She has co-premiered works by Gdańsk-associated composers Thobias von Duren and Bernardino Borlasci, and contributed to early music phonography through albums like Navigare (2018) and Corona Aurea (2022).

Notable awards include the Youth Poland Scholarship, Pomeranian Artistic Award, and multiple regional scholarships for cultural contributions.
